Day 4
Ok, so today's lesson was about inputting images, forms and tables (figured out the borders part later) with just HTML. I also went over to Facebook and added a link to my blog on my profile. I then figured out how to start an application interface for my website. The tricky part I've been getting stuck on is how to make it so my posts go to my facebook site from here. It's definitely a mystery.
I downloaded a couple of plugins for WordPress that are supposed to help (Simple Facebook Connect), but it's not doing what I thought it should do. Oh and I made a logo for my site (need one for the esoteric site too). After looking online for logos or logo makers, which all cost money, I decided to just try my luck in the paint application in Windows. Admittedly, it came out better than I thought. It's on my main page if you are curious.
I guess now to get on Twitter and get that going in-between my HTML and CSS lessons. Speaking of which, I finished htmldog.com's basic lessons for HTML and now I'm going to work on basic CSS. I'm also going along in "HTML for the World Wide Web" to see if there is more there to learn while I'm at it. No better way to learn than to consult more than one reference and squeeze every bit out that you can.
So has anyone else tried blogging by WordPress before? If so, did you set up an interface to Facebook? I'd love to know what problems anyone else had. See you next time and please don't forget to comment.

Cindy,
Yes, I am teaching as I learn. I try to get out a lesson a day, so feel free to look at Pages section on the top right and check out my lessons. In fact, since you asked, I will be putting out a page today on images.
