Welcome to My Beginning Web. Well, I am working on getting experience as a blogger and website design and development. I’ve already started my first blog over at www.esoteric-thought.com, where I discuss my adventures in learning all things esoteric, but also I wanted to do something that I can really use as my training site and then incorporate those lessons into my primary site and other sites that I develop as time goes by.
This website is not just for blogging alone. I made this site for my friends and those following my blogs to join me and my adventures in learning web design (HTML, XTML, Javascript, CSS and so forth) and some of the tools used to make web design easy (like WordPress). I will expect over the next several months to be learning the basics and how to do everything from scratch. As I progress I will want to get my hands on some of the tools available that make design easier and test those out. If you wish to see how things are looking, I will be working on the web development portion over at www.mybeginningweb.com and sharing my experiences and lessons learned here on my blog.
As I learn and grow and put my experiences here, I invite you to share your lessons as well and any helpful comments on what I discuss. I look forward to this experience and all the great things I will learn about it and I hope you learn something too (like avoiding my mistakes).
